The sudden
thing I have with english songs is so weird.

Maybe I angmoh-ed with those debaters too much.

I went to ACJC with my brother on Saturday!
I went to watch some debate between RJC and some national team.
It was quite boring cos the motion was too
chim and useless.
But it's still kinda fun to watch debates. I like!
Argue argue. I like debates. :D
Mid year exams are approaching.
No, I'm not going to stop blogging. Haha.
But, there's just this huge work load that I can't seem to be able to cope with.
I mean, I can finish my homework, sometimes,
but it feels like I've just rushed through the whole thing,
without understanding or anything.

I don't like the way people phrase this. They say:
Oh, I hope you
WIN the Gold with Honours medal at SYF!
But.. It's not a competition. How to win?
I hate the way people take SYF like a competition.
Not only for band, but for the other performing arts as well.
SYF is just going there to be judged by those 7 people, isn't it?
It's not a competition. No wins, no loses.
Fabian said, "The judges give people bronze medal, they take it like giving the band a comment, so that they will go and work and improve on it. They didn't know that it will affect the people so much. When people cry because of perhaps their silver medal, the judges ask, why are they crying?"
We're getting this whole thing all WRONG.
Nevertheless, this year's SYF has been really.. An experience.
150 bands.
3 gold with honours medals.
16 gold medals.
A lot of silvers, a lot of bronzes.
5 Certificates of Participation.
